Techie Web/Print Designer

Extole, Inc., the leading provider of social marketing solutions, is looking for a Web/Print Designer.  Located in San Francisco, Extole is the leading provider of social engagement applications that drive measurable results on and off Facebook for leading brands and agencies.  Extole’s multi-channel Engagement Platform helps marketers activate their customer base, engage fans, and convert social engagement into Likes, recommendations, sales, customers, and prospects. We design, deploy and optimize referral-based customer acquisition programs, social recommendation campaigns, and other customer-powered programs—all of which are highly measurable and proactively optimized by a suite of accompanying services. Our clients range from SMB’s to large enterprises such Virgin Mobil, Chrysler, Shutterfly, and The New York Times. 

About the Role

As a Print/Web Designer with Extole you will join a team our highly collaborative Creative team to produce marketing designs for in-house and trade shows.  You will work closely with the Marketing team to develop branded marketing collaterals for a diverse set of name brand clients that will be deployed on the brand’s website and social networks.  This position is equal parts print design, web design and production artist. You’ll be solving promotional marketing issues via brochures, data sheets, and trade show graphics.

Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates must have extensive experience in print design, specializes in designing Trade Show Graphics, Brochures, Data Sheets, & Pamphlets.  The position will be responsible for updating our corporate website, so you must poses strong communication skills working closely with lead designer and web developer.

Technical Requirements

• Expert in advanced design software Adobe Photoshop, Indesign & Illustrator
• Extensive experience with design layouts for trade show graphics, Pop Up Booths, Brochures, Business cards, Data sheets, & Print Ads
• Strong knowledge in printing requirements/ techniques such as bleeds, crop marks, & color conversions
• Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office suite
• Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS
• Looking to expand skills onto more web based designs
• Have an understanding on how to design for leading web technologies (HTML, WordPress, Joomla, & Drupal)
• Strong communication skills, able to convey design vision with developers

 Pluses

• Direct and/or integrated marketing experience
• Experience with web development (HTML, CSS & Jquery)
• Able to design online banners and newsletters
