Pageonce is a 2011 Apple top app of the year, an Android Editor’s Choice App, and was featured by BlackBerry in a national TV commercial. The company is based in Palo Alto, CA and has raised more than $20M of venture capital funding to date.
Pageonce is looking for an exceptional individual to work closely with marketing and product development teams to delivery high visibility projects and guide these projects through the full product life cycle: from concept definition through build, test, deployment and support. The role includes rapid prototyping, development of next generation mobile and web experiences and a good understanding of related functional and operational aspects of technical design. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional work ethic and be able to work independently along with amazing technical acumen with consumer products, JavaScript, and the latest in HTML 5 and CSS 3.
Skills Required:
- Ability to design and build full-featured, interactive websites
- Fluent in current web technologies such as AJAX, JQuery, CSS3 and HTML5.
- Experience in designing web sites with clean and intuitive interfaces.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scopes concurrently, while meeting all timelines
- Experience with TextMate, Photoshop, Illustrator a plus.
- Strong knowledge and passion for mobile devices and applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills – almost everyone likes you
- Good sense of humor
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- 5+ years in web development
Responsibilities:
- Turn mock-ups and designs into full pages complete with cross browser/platform compatible CSS, HTML, and Javascript
- Be an advocate for design and UI issues throughout engineering and QA phases of development.
- Work closely with UX designers, project managers and back-end engineers to implement versatile front-end solutions to tricky web development problems.
- Build web applications optimized for mobile and tablet devices
- Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
