Software Test Engineer / Developer
Our client is actively interviewing and will hire several developers with similar skills, these roles are for hands on contributors who have current experience with anywhere from 4 to 7 years after graduation. The roles are junior to senior and could after time lead to a management role, at the present time the applicants must be willing to work hands on. Our client is very financially stable, has very strong funding and offers a rewarding environment for advancement.
The successful applicants’ primary responsibilities will be to design, develop, execute and maintain a comprehensive, automated testing platform.
• Strong Knowledge and understanding of the following technical skills;
Java C++ XML XSLT HTTP HTML Javascript Python SQL Object Oriented Design
• Prior experience in the design, development, deployment and maintenance of automated software verification and validation frameworks a plus.
• Prior experience in the design and development of web-based software solutions a plus.
• Working knowledge of Agile development processes.
• Working knowledge of modern software development tools including bug tracking systems, source code revision control, and automated testing and code optimization a plus.
• Proficient in Linux and Windows environments
• Knowledge and understanding of standard techniques related to software verification and validation testing.
•Specific Responsibilities;
1. Specific responsibility related to the design, development, execution and maintenance of the automated testing platform
2. Specific responsibility related to the specification, integration, deployment, execution and maintenance of the engineering team software build environment and toolset
3. Specification, design, development, deployment and maintenance of data collection and automation tools related to the generation and maintenance of internal test data set
4. Specification, design, development, deployment and maintenance of test result collection and reporting tools
5. Adherence to and active participation in the continuous development and improvement of all engineering team quality policies and processes
BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required with 4 – 7yrs of current hands on experience.
