Non-Techie Sales Operations Manager

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales, customer support and marketing organizations to ensure timely and accurate management of sales activity and sales forecasts. Track and report on sales activity and pipeline.
- Manage the administration of salesforce.com implementation. Leverage its capabilities and other add-on solutions to enhance its value to the users and customers of SFDC.
- Administer policies to ensure integrity of data in SFDC.
- Define and implement sales processes to drive best practices in the sales organization.
- Manage the commission process, and partner with the IT Applications Group (MIS Team) the finance and sales teams for ongoing improvements.
- Develop and implement performance metrics to drive sales excellence.
- Analyze sales, churn and sales activity data to derive insights into sales performance. Use this to recommend and implement ongoing improvement in sales practices.
- Work closely with the IT Applications Group (MIS Team) to streamline reporting needs as well as collection and analysis of data from order processing systems.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelors’ degree in business, technology or related field.
- Proven experience with salesforce.com.
- Excellent communication (verbal and non-verbal), presentation & interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to work well under time pressure, to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to prioritize.
- Should be creative, a self-starter, team player, fast learner, detail oriented, and conscientious.
- Technical background or aptitude to understand and leverage capabilities/limitations of the various systems used within the organization.
- Willing to work across time zones and interface with the global sales and IT Application Groups (MIS Group).
