Job Description
Regional Sales Manager position available to cover Western territory. Primary responsibility is quota attainment through lead and opportunity generating activities leveraging both direct and indirect sales resources. The candidate will also be responsible for Channel Development and creating awareness within the end user community as well as the Reseller and Strategic Partner community.
The candidate should have a demonstrable track record in developing a multi state region and be able to organize, develop and execute against a business plan for the territory. Must possess a strong work ethic, ability to grasp and articulate both technical and business benefits associated with Unified Communications, Social media and/or archiving solutions. A high level of energy, activity and integrity are essential for success. Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly evolving, demanding environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of Enterprise software sales experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft and IBM
- Unified Communications, archiving or Social Media experience highly preferred
- Proven and verifiable track record of consistent over quota achievement
- Experience selling and credibility with local VARS, integrators and partners
- Successful history of selling into F1000 customers within the territory
- Experience in building out a multi state territory
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Travel required within the territory
- BS/BA degree from accredited institution
