Job Description
3VR’s Marketing Team plans, develops, and implements marketing communications to build brand awareness and to drive preference for 3VR products and services, while supporting customer acquisition and retention. A critical element of our efforts is partner marketing, which leverages relationships with re-sellers, integrators and service providers in our industry to drive account acquisition and growth. The Partner Marketing Specialist manages targeted and convincing marketing campaigns to persuade a partner’s customers and/or prospects to become 3VR customers.
The Partner Marketing Specialist is responsible for understanding our partners business needs as well as the needs of its prospects and customers in order to develop messaging, offers, and tactics that allow us to successfully convert clients. Along with campaign development, this specialist will direct campaign implementation and provide regular reporting on the marketing and sales metrics needed to reflect the business results of their activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop/define 3VR’s channel marketing plan, including budget requirements and ROI
- Work with Channel Sales Managers to develop co-marketing plans for top National and Regional Partners.
- Develop and execute campaigns to partners to grow awareness of and preference for 3VR
- Manage partner events and collateral needs
- Act as primary marketing contact for partners
- Manage Marketing Development Funding and investment within the Channel program guidelines
- Develop and run sales programs in conjunction with Product Marketing
- Work closely with the Corporate Marketing Team to ensure alignment of messaging campaigns to 3VR Channel
Requirements:
- Assure strong and accurate reflection of our company messages, differentiation, brand, logo and tm’s in all partner and joint marketing campaigns
- Prepare new materials or adapt existing successful content and programs from our direct sales and marketing teams for channel use
- Measure program success and continuously evaluate its success for future course corrections and increasing resources (time, money and people) ROI. This includes weekly reporting on programs and metrics.
- Maximize our coverage in the partner’s internal communications, events, intranets, websites, sales, deployment/adoption and marketing vehicles
- Manage on-boarding of new Channel Partners to ensure appropriate welcome information, training, marketing materials, technical support, etc. is received
- Plan and implement quarterly Regional Partner Advisory Council, as well as other partner events.
- Work closely with other marketing team members in the successful delivery of sales training programs and deliverables
- Drive integrated lead development programs with partners and vendors. Examples include telemarketing scripts, email, white papers, e-seminars, sales training, spiffs, buying incentives and routine reporting on progress
- Align with Partner Sales Managers in overall account management, tracking progress and uncovering new expansion potential
Qualifications:
- Outstanding project management and organizational skills: proven track record of driving the introduction of new, incremental and simultaneous programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for delivery in document, web and presentation form
- People skills that promote personal relationship building between virtual teams – working directly with varied headquarters resources, partner sales, and partners in program execution
- Basic knowledge of web development for managing the 3VR Partner Portal
- Familiarity with direct marketing and email campaign development and management
- Experience in working within cross functional teams to completion of goals and objectives
- 2-4 years of marketing communications experience
- Strong knowledge and fluency in Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with CRM and PRM systems
- Understanding of the channel sales environment
