Partner Marketing Manager

San Francisco

You’ve done it – built and executed the marketing programs for partners, affiliate, or clients. You have applied all of your resources (and more) to make their marketing successful. You switch instantly between helping frame strategic goals and executing tactics with diligence and creativity. You drive relentlessly towards results while maintaining great relationships with inside and outside constituents.  And of course, you love tech, the web, and being on the edge.

SaaS is the way forward in software sales and delivery.  Subscription services rely on high-volume transactions and substantial lead flow.  As a marketer, this puts your marketing squarely in the forefront in revenue creation.

Our partners are some of the most exciting companies around.  In this job, you will work with these partners directly and with New Relic’s business development team, influencing partners’ success as well as ours.  Our partners include the likes of Heroku, Engine Yard, CloudBees, Amazon Web Services, Joyent, Rackspace, RightScale and many more. And they need you.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

·         Design and deliver revenue-generating co-marketing plans with partners.

·         Identify and leverage partner strengths and New Relic resources to drive the success

·         Leverage partner participation in other New Relic marketing activities, including: PR, case studies, whitepapers and events

·         Plan and execute New Relic’s participation in partner activities and launches

·         Measure and monitor the performance of programs, elicit partner feedback, and drive constant improvement.

·         Perform quarterly end-to-end audits of the customer experience and drive optimization

·         Develop strong, trust-based relationships with partners as well as our own multi-functional teams

·         Own the marketing relationship with partners

·         Work closely with business development colleagues and share goals for success

Experience:

·         At least 5 years of partner/channel/agency marketing management experience with Tier 1 Strategic Alliance partners

·         Strong relationship management skills to grow the relationship

·         Powerful oral communication skills and excellent writing ability

·         Success in identifying new opportunities and uncovering untapped areas for new revenue growth

·         Experience with financial planning and budget management

·         A creative thinker who enjoys a fast paced environment

·         Relevant BS / BA, or experience demonstrating comparable breadth and depth
