Marketing Programs Manager
San Francisco
You are way ahead of the curve. You understand that SaaS is the way forward in software sales. You get the fact that subscription services rely on high-volume transactions and substantial lead flow. You know you have the skills, experience, and creativity to create original campaigns that drive awareness and leads, and you use whatever means are available to do so (blogs, emails, webcasts, case studies, community engagement).
At New Relic, you will be responsible for defining and executing customer and prospect campaigns that drive the prospect pipeline. You will be responsible for create and distribute original content that is the core of our campaigns. You will test, measure, and report on campaign success, and use those results to ensure constant improvement. You will work with sales and your marketing teammates, to assure that New Relic’s campaigns drive the highest levels of interest and revenue.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
Plan and execute marketing programs to motivate prospective customers in target markets.
· Create compelling content that resonates with our fast-growing customer base
· Work closely with sales, development, and marketing colleagues to create content
· Align campaigns with corporate strategy and positioning.
· Define, measure and report on program success metrics and ROI.
· Ensure appropriate follow-up on event and program-generated selling opportunities,
· Work with marketing colleagues to incubate leads delivered by campaigns.
· Travel as required.
Experience:
· At least 5 years of B2B direct marketing experience with solid software background.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Success in identifying new opportunities and uncovering untapped areas for new revenue growth.
· Experience with financial planning, budget management and expense.
· Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
· A creative thinker who enjoys a fast paced environment.
· Relevant BS / BA, or experience demonstrating comparable breadth and depth
