Job Description
The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of all demand generation programs. This highly visible position requires outstanding communication skills, a passion for marketing analytics, attention to detail and an ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced marketing department. The candidate is required to have strong marketing skills and experience analyzing marketing metrics as well as the ability to grasp new technologies quickly. The position will report to the Vice President of Marketing.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, executing and tracking marketing programs to generate leads, nurture prospects, and engage customers.
- Success Metrics and Tracking: Ensure proper success metrics are established for each campaign, and maintain reports throughout the campaign lifecycle. Should have a detailed knowledge of reporting in Salesforce.com, and reporting through marketing automation tools. Create dashboards for weekly reporting to key Sales and Marketing executives.
- Execute Lead Generation / Nurturing Programs: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify opportunities to develop and execute lead generation and lead nurturing programs. Manage the execution of marketing campaigns in alignment with objectives and provide recommendations that enhance future campaign performance and measurements. Test and monitor campaigns to optimize performance.
- Marketing Systems Infrastructure: Responsible for the successful management and day‐to‐day operation of Marketo and Salesforce.com campaigns to enable lead generation and lead nurturing programs.
- Sales Funnel Data and Quality Management: Responsible for maintaining the lead list and data integrity in Marketo through its integration with Salesforce.com. Work closely with marketing in procuring and importing data from outside sources, and ensure data is properly segmented for targeting purposes.
- Process Design and Documentation: Document existing processes and implement improvements to enhance marketing productivity. Recommend new systems to enhance productivity where appropriate.
Required Experience / Skills
- Minimum 4-7 years experience as a Marketing/Sales Operations Specialist, Business Analyst, or similar position.
- Experience in managing, modifying and configuring of both Marketo and Salesforce.com platform is required;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data sets to concrete business recommendations for marketing and sales leadership with the goal to optimize revenue generating investments.
- Marketing automation power user (Working Knowledge of Marketo platform preferred, but not required).
- A positive and flexible attitude mixed with a high-energy passion for professional growth.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven success in fast paced, highly demanding environment.
