Overview:

As an Account Executive @ Loopt, you’ll work both inside and out to build partnerships with local merchants across the SF Bay Area.  Loopt Account Executives are experienced sales professionals with a penchant for local businesses, as well as online sales, advertising, and social media.  You prospect, negotiate, and close Loopt u-Deals, all the while creating strong, long-term merchant relationships.  Loopt u-Deals is a breakthrough product in the local deals and advertising market, receiving much critical acclaim at our recent launch. u-Deals press highlights – http://bit.ly/ntPQLl

 Responsibilities:

  • Go to work for our Loopt Troop (aka our awesome users) after they propose a u-Deal by calling on proposed merchant partners – both in-person and by phone/email
  • You’ll be calling on the best local businesses around, ones that make the SF Bay Area unique, to negotiate unbeatable offers on behalf of Loopt’s Troop
  • Present u-Deals as a unique social media platform for businesses to both acquire new customers, but also reward and engage with current customers
  • Conduct social media consultations with top performing merchants to maximize social media presence and increase customer base
  • Consult with and close these local merchants on compelling u-Deals for our users based on each business’s products and services
  • Provide documentation on new merchant partner acquisitions to the operations team
  • Quickly respond to and resolve all merchant questions/issues
  • Analyze basic deal performance metrics to determine re-run potential and to ascertain improvements in deal-structure and marketing/merchandising
  • Meet individual quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Communicate ongoing contact and relationship activities utilizing Salesforce.com

 Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of local sales experience is required, you can point to respective personal results
  • Highly skilled and experienced in selling to various types of small, local businesses via phone, email, and in-person
  • Ability to demonstrate top-notch communication and presentation skills at all decision-making levels
  • Possess ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com/CRM programs
  • In-depth knowledge of social media such as Facebook and Twitter
  • Online advertising, direct marketing, local advertising experiences are a plus
  • Have own transportation
