Non-Techie Ebook Operations Manager

Chegg is rapidly expanding our digital footprint. Our success largely hinges on strong, high-impact, technical leaders who can take business goals and fully execute on them. You’ll be the leader who builds our Ebook Operations team. This leader will work with both our Content Acquisition, Engineering and Product teams to deliver the best student ebook experience. Your team will own the Chegg ebook pipeline. They will work with receiving content from publishers to the final publication to the Chegg web site. Engineering will own the tools for the pipeline, but frequently you’ll need to act as a stop gap when problems are detected. As such, your scripting and automation skills will come into play. This is an opportunity to have a significant impact in the context of a small, impactful, and nimble operations team.

•Team building and management experience

•Operations experience with content workflow.

•Fluency with PDF and ePub specifications

•Experience creating your own automation as needed

•Computer science degree or equivalent experience
