PHP/MySQL/Drupal LAMP
Our client is actively interviewing and will hire more than one Developer with Drupal Experience. These roles are for hands on contributors who have current experience with anywhere from 4 to 10 years after graduation. The roles are mid level to senior and could after time lead to a management role, at the present time the applicants must be willing to work hands on. Drupal Developer
We are in need of a Senior Web developer with in-depth knowledge of PHP/MySQL/Drupal with at least 2 years of hands on working experience with Drupal. As a member of the Web team, the candidate will be working in a LAMP environment to develop, manage, and maintain web applications and systems that support the online digital presence of company.
The web developer will be a part of the team for:
- Migrating websites from CQ5 to Drupal
- Implementing and migrating Blogs using other blog solutions like Word Press, Drupal
- Developing Multi-Lingual web sites and community sites
- Implementing various web initiatives for Marketing, Sales and Support groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Agility and experience with PHP, PHP frameworks, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, LAMP stack
- Experienced with internal workings of Drupal, including core and contributed modules (actions, triggers, views, content types, panels, context, fields, etc.), the various APIs and hooks (cache, node, etc.), Drush, and more.
- Experienced with user-contributed module landscape/ecosystem/Research needs to determine if existing contributed modules can fulfill solution requirements
- Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites
- Proficient in SQL, relational databases and MySQL; skill with tools like phpMyAdmin and the MySQL CLI
- Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with AJAX and JQuery
- Experience enhancing the performance of high-traffic sites
- Experience building sophisticated framework-based Websites
- Experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as it relates to website development
- Experience integrating free software and third party applications into existing systems
- Familiarity with revision control systems such as Subversion
- Should have a passion for learning new technologies and must be self-motivated
- Must be a good team player
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience with SharePoint 2010
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008, .NET development with C#
- Experience with Saleforce.com programming
- Experience working in a SOX environment
- Project Management skills
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline
Certifications related to web applications development an advantage
BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required with 4 – 7yrs of current hands on experience.
