Role: Channel Development/Inside Sales

Reports to: Director, Business Development

Status: Full-time, Salary + Commission, with benefits

Job Description

-Primary responsibilities include heavy outbound pre sales telephone calls, finding/qualifying opportunities, expanding carrier relationships with outreach strategies, and scheduling/conducting demos for prospective customers

-The candidate will work closely with Carriers and Channel Partners to bring new company logos into the Visage Mobile customer base.

-The candidate will work closely with the marketing team to identify campaign strategies for new leads with drip marketing, email, and educational seminars

-The candidate will be paired directly with an Outside Sales Manager and will be responsible for driving activity centered around leads, opportunities, and demos

-The candidate will identify, quantify, qualify and pursue new business prospects, set meetings and/or demos for accounts under 200 users. For accounts over 200 users, candidate will work closely with their Direct sales representative counterparts to properly qualify opportunities prior to handoff.

-This position requires a “no fear” attitude, creative thinking, and a solution selling perspective to set meetings at every level within Enterprise and HPC accounts including CIOs, CTOs and other executives. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to uncover “pain” associated with inefficient processes with customer organizations, overcome objections, and close business.

-Candidate will be responsible for meeting monthly revenue goals as it relates to closing opportunities less than 200 users

Desired Skills & Experience

Position Requirements:

-Proven track record in cold calling with a minimum of 2 years experience within the Wireless industry and/or selling Software-as-a-Service products to mid-market/enterprise accounts.

-Leadership, time-management, advanced organization skills, problem-solving abilities, and the aptitude to understand and explain technical information in simple terms.

-Experience with Carrier environment and solid understanding of business processes for sales executives is preferred

-Ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships with carriers and other channel partners to produce leads

-Ability to work in a productive and effective manner in the office or when traveling.

-Working knowledge of business process, IT trends, profit and loss, market strategy, and Visage Mobile Contract process.

-Experience with CRM systems, especially Siebel, Salesforce, and executive reporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) a plus.

MINIMUM Required

MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
MUST HAVE 2-3 years of sales experience in selling to small business, mid market, and Enterprise accounts.
Sales Experience with any of the 4 major US carriers is preferred
MUST HAVE Superior oral and written communication skills.
MUST HAVE a strong comfort level using databases and extracting data as needed to close business.
MUST HAVE a winning attitude and willingness to work in a team environment.
