Job Description

Do you have solid communication and interpersonal skills? Are you personable yet persistent? Are you known for your business savvy? We are looking for a talented individual to help imo grow through identifying and establishing strategic relationships with web, mobile, and device partners.

 

Responsibilities:

-Understand and evangelize imo’s products

-Build strategic partnerships across different sectors and disciplines

-Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities

-Simultaneously manage multiple projects and partnerships

-Handle contract negotiations and work with lawyers to finalize agreements

 

Requirements:

-BA/BS degree in related field–MBA, JD, or other advanced degree preferred

-Sound business judgment

-Exceptional research, communication, and analytical skills

-Attention to detail and ability to see the big picture

-Avid current or future imo user

 

Compensation:

-Competitive salary and stock options

-$500/month housing stipend for living within a five-mile radius from our office

Our current team consists of top TopCoders, ACM ICPC World Finalists, and medalists of the International Olympiads in Informatics. We work on challenging projects that we choose from the ground up that have direct impact on our users. Our web-based service allows users to hold text, voice, and video chats on multiple instant messaging protocols. Currently supported protocols include AIM, Facebook Chat, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber, MSN, MySpace, Skype, and Yahoo Messenger. The service is free and requires no user-registration or sign-up. Currently, we have over one million unique accounts active on imo.im over a 30-day period.
