Full-Time Assistant Director, Entrepreneurship Innovation Lab
NYU’s prestigious Leonard N. Stern School of Business has a challenging opportunity for an Assistant Director of Entrepreneurship Innovation Lab. The Assistant Director will provide operational and logistical support for all Innovation Lab programs, services and events. S/he will drive the development and delivery of venture acceleration services, i.e., the venture mentor network, summer startup fellowship, and on-going skills development workshops and technical assistance programs. The Assistant Director will meet with and advise those seeking startup assistance from the Lab. S/he will assist with researching, planning and developing the Lab’s e-learning platforms. The selected candidate will also build and manage relationships across campus as well as with volunteers and outside strategic partners.
Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience working with startups or in a startup environment. The selected candidate has successfully developed and managed programs with multiple stakeholders, and has a proven track record of community building and outreach. The ability to work closely with aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs providing advice and guidance is essential. Other required skills include strong customer service orientation, good social media management skills, excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, and strong presentation skills. The selected candidate will be extremely well-organized, and self-starter who can work on multiple projects under deadline pressure.
