SingleFeed is partnered with many leading e-commerce sites including Google Product Search, Shopping.com, Pricegrabber & Bing Shopping. We also work with many top brands and online retailers. SingleFeed was recently acquired by Vendio, an Alibaba company and works closely with Auctiva, Vendio’s sister organization.
About the Position:
SingleFeed is looking for a full-time, hourly person to oversee categorization activities and assist in account management. The ideal candidate will have background in ecommerce or online marketing and experience working with clients. The position is based in our Chico, CA office.
The main responsibility of the Account Manager is to oversee and coordinate an important part of SingleFeed’s business model, the product categorization process. The Account Manager will manage and oversee a small team of categorization contractors, ensuring quick turn-around times and a high quality of work.
The other aspect of the role is to serve as an account manager for a set of SingleFeed clients. This is a client services role rather than a sales role. You will assist with client needs, help new clients get set up, troubleshoot technical issues, and work with internal teams on client issues. This part of the role will allow you to quickly understand the SingleFeed product and become an expert in the comparison shopping engines space.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following experience and personal attributes:
- BA/BS degree
- Online marketing / ecommerce experience
- Client services / account management / agency experience
- Comparison shopping experience a major plus
- Knowledgeable in Office/Excel, Google Apps, Salesforce CRM (a major plus)
- Extremely high attention to detail, comfortable reviewing large amounts of data
- Good writing skills. Ability to explain complex issues clearly in flawless written English.
- Effective communicator
- Independent worker. Ability to self-motivate, prioritize and multi-task.
- Proactive. Outspoken. Excited.
