• Write maintainable, unit-tested code in Python, PHP and Java
• Implement business logic and data models
• Use advanced web UI frameworks such as Django and Javascript to build widgets and website extensions
• Translate business requirements into design and solutions.
• Participate & play a role in deciding about development best practices
• Work with other software engineers, QA team, product managers, business analysts and business owners to continuously improve the user experience and revenues
• Analyze performance of applications and improve client load times
• Document work with appropriate technical documentation

• Very strong problem solving skills with deep understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Strong database skills, with an understanding of query optimizations & database parameter tuning
• Experience building large-scale & fault tolerant web-services and server side systems
• B Tech in Computer Science or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Prior works on widgets would be a bonus
