This position will be responsible for the entire sales function at Trion. This person will be an integral part of publishing organization and assume responsibility for the Sales and distribution strategies for both retail and digital distribution in North America. They will also have joint responsibility to drive consumer conversion and retention through ongoing programs. The position will report into the SVP of Publishing who will have Global responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide revenue forecasts including client sales through retail and digital distribution, subscriptions, micro-transactions, POSA cards, OEM and other partner relationships
- Manage all retail relationships to achieve “sell-in” and “sell-thru” objectives as well as co-op and MDF budgets
- Drive pre-sell campaigns and beta sign up through creative sales programs
- Provide creative programs for product acquisition and longevity at retail
- Be creative in exploring new ways to facilitate client distribution through established and emerging channels
- Build an internal team to support the strategic initiatives and oversee the entire supply chain for product manufacturing
- Drive all retail programs and interact with the brand group on creative solutions for all POS materials, FOB, pre-sell campaigns and other sales needs
- Work closely with the European sales staff to drive all online revenue opportunities for mutual benefit
- Provide input into all business models for both internal products and potential distribution deals
- Work with business development to explore new revenue opportunities, partnerships etc
- Manage all partner relationships (i.e. hardware manufacturers, graphics card suppliers etc) to deliver mutually beneficial sales and marketing programs
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 + years direct experience with key retail accounts
- Experience in games distribution and ideally MMO experience
- Experience with digital distribution of PC product
- Proven creativity in designing innovative retail/ sales programs
- Ability to create and execute business plans
- Experience in managing retail programs
- Proven ability to lead the sales function
- 5+ years of experience dealing with executive team
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Be a team player with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Experience liaising with development
