Summary: eSilicon Corporation seeks Vice President, Strategic Sourcing for its Sunnyvale, CA location.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic plans for each supplier to eSilicon to maximize the support the company receives from it's suppliers in the areas of pricing, allocation, technical support, co-marketing, lead sharing, and road map alignment.
• Work with other organizations (marketing, operations, etc.) to define and drive the product strategies of the suppliers to ensure alignment with the needs of eSilicon.
• Work with eSilicon's legal department to negotiate all purchase contracts for the company.
• Ensure that eSilicon is favorably viewed by all its suppliers and articulate eSilicon's strategy and how the suppliers fit into this strategy.
• Hold regular business reviews with eSilicon's suppliers to provide them with feedback on their performance and to receive feedback and updates from them.
• In the case of issues with suppliers, work with eSilicon's quality department to implement corrective action plans.

Education and Experience:

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate independently.
• 15 years of ASIC or semiconductor industry experience in operations and supply chain management is a must.
