Responsible for supporting internal and external engineering organizations that are planning, implementing and deploying the Obopay enterprise platform world wide.

Works in close partnership with the core Obopay development team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Highly technical role, requiring deep knowledge and understanding of the Obopay’s core payments platform technologies and broad familiarity with its customer-facing and internal applications.
• Design, architect and implement technical solutions for third-party integration using the Obopay enterprise platform.
• Work with Delivery Management to identify requirements for partner engagements.
• Design, development and testing of custom modules.
• Work with Business Development and Product Management to provide technical support of internal and external customer engagements.
• Provide technical consulting and systems engineering support for pro-services and consulting engagements.
• Help define and drive best practices.
• Work directly with the Architecture team to define Obopay N-tier, highly scalable enterprise platform.
• Act as “vendor” to Obopay payment business service team in order to identify needed enterprise platform components.
• Help drive and manage documentation of the Obopay enterprise platform components.

Experience Desired:

• 7+ years designing/implementing large scale enterprise systems.
• Experience with enterprise systems that actually went to production and attained transactions at scale is a must.
• Highly proficient communication and leadership skills in dealing with customer management.
• In depth experience with enterprise techniques including: Transactions, State Management, Clustering and Persistence Frameworks.
• In depth experience with J2EE core technologies including: EJB, JMS, XML, JNDI, JMX, Web Services, RMI, Sockets.
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS.
• Experience with enterprise security techniques is a plus including: SSL, Crypto, Single Sign-on, Web Services Security, HSM, LDAP
• Practical experience with UML modeling techniques.
• Practical experience with IDEs including Eclipse.
